Welcome! My name is Jen, and I’m a fan of all things DIY and crafty. A web designer by day, I have the same passion for paper crafting and upcycling that I do for creating innovative websites for my clients. Sharing my handmade paper creations with the world brings me pure joy, which is why I decided to open JLH Upcycling.

It’s my mission as an entrepreneur to create beautiful home accents using reusable materials that may otherwise be discarded. Most of the paper that I use, including shipping boxes and packing material, are recycled. I partner with book stores and local Milwaukeeans to save damaged books that can no longer be sold, and salvage the pages that are still in good condition. Instead of throwing them away, why not recycle the materials to display their beauty in a new way? This not only allows me to offer my products at reasonable prices, but also support sustainability and contribute to the handmade community.

Each item in my shop is carefully created by little old me in my smoke free home. I believe in living a positive life, and try to represent that mentality in each product. It’s my goal as a handmade seller to brighten your home with simple, intentional pieces that will bring a smile to your face each day.
